Meet the TEAM – Adventurous Arpita aka Arpita Bhattacharya!
- Hard Working
It has been an upward learning curve so far. Each day I have learnt something new. The journey has been an absolutely thrilling experience so far, wherein I have polished my professional skills and picked up some news skills along the way.
This is one of the few industries I feel where no two days are the same. Each day comes with a new set of challenges and excitement. Though it happened quite by chance, weddings have now become my passion.
I opted to work in a start up as I feel this is where there is maximum opportunity to learn. One of the biggest advantages of a start-up is that there are no structured departments and processes and this means you get a chance to perform cross-functional roles. Also, you get to closely interact with your colleagues across all management levels. Another reason for joining a start-up is that it gives you a platform to lead projects and develop your skills as a future entrepreneur.
I love the joy and celebrations attached to weddings. As a wedding planner I get to help someone turn their wedding dream into a reality. I feel the happiest when I am at a wedding site amidst all the fun, laughter and festivity.
- I want to run a beach shack in Bali someday
- If not a wedding planner, I would want to become a wedding photographer or a singer
- I sometimes sleep talk
Quote – “Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”
