Meet Suraj Suryanarayanan
- Easy Going
- Never-Say-Die Attitude
There is a saying “Don’t look at the past, Look at the future”; I would like to change this a little bit “Look at the great moments of the past and look forward for the same in future”; this suits my relationship with OV. The journey has been a fun filled journey with lot of learning, not just with OV but even with education. The fight with the principal every now and then, arguments with staff and getting sent out of class most of the time (Was like Ekalavya – Passed without attending class properly); College was more fun – the time spent with my gang of friends and the fun in the metro train in Chennai with Prathip Kumar were the funniest moments in my life.
I was not particular about a specific industry, it was more about the people with whom I work and the learning ability that was packed with the job motivated me to join OV. It was the company & the team that made me opt for this industry.
I basically belong to a business family, I used to see my Dad facing challenges in business time and again, but every time he faced a challenge, it made him better equipped and the same with my uncles. Growing up in this kind of environment made me look for challenging jobs; you could not choose anything better than a start up to rise up to the challenge. People would argue that established companies also have challenging jobs; I would say learn to walk first and then to run.
The best thing about my job is being trained by 5 top professionals who have over 100 years of combined experience in different industries. Moreover, the work environment is very friendly where everyone is not just a colleague but a friend.
I am an open book.
